Shiva Subramanian said that he had met Veerappan several times and he used to go to forests with Karnataka and Tamil Nadu police caravans and meet Veerappan and collect his statements. Shiva Subramanian said that “Veerappan Saga; The Rise and Fall” consists of 4 parts totaling 1,800 pages, one of which was to be executed but a person named Nikaran Gopalan canceled it because of this. A stay was obtained from the City Civil Court of Bangalore by stating that the book about him has been misrepresented.
Subramanian said that the said book chronicles the story of sandalwood mafia Veerappan from his birth in 1952 to 1991 and when Veerappan was killed in a police encounter in 2004, he decided to write a book on the subject. He will write the book and put it into practice.
Shiva Subramanian said that the entire book of Umya has already been published in Tamil language. And thousands of copies have been sold. are, but the Court’s stay has been imposed on the English language edition.
In this regard, Rashtriya Dravida Sangh leader Agni Shridhar expressed his surprise at the court’s stay on the release of the book, saying that only after the release of the book can it be determined whether there is any in it. There is a controversial matter or a wrong statement has been made about a person.
Agni Shridhar said that now the author of the book will challenge this stay and hoped that in a few days this stay will be removed and the book will be released.
